A massive congrats to Lachlan Rodgers, Magnus McCausland, and Oliver Stebbings all being named Burras - for the second time this year! Not just Tigers together, the three were also selected as Burras for the 2024 Sultan of Johor Cup back in October (big thanks to Lachie`s mum for the photo!) 💛🏑
We`re so proud of our women! 🐯🎉 Maddi is making a return to the Hockeyroos Squad this year, and Evie Dalton is part of this year`s Development Squad. 2025 is shaping up to be a KILLER year!! 🏑💛

Bright and early this morning, our very own Eddie Ockenden announced his retirement from his international hockey career. A five-time Olympian, three-time Olympic medallist, Opening Ceremony flag bearer (the first from Tassie!), and many more awards and accolades has made Eddie a certified legend, if we do say so ourselves. As the season ends, so does our time with our Tigers imports. They’ve left a lasting mark on our team, and joined our local women to make history for our state. To say they’ll be missed is an understatement. We wish them safe travels today as they head home, and can’t wait to see them again someday 💛
We also would like to send a HUGE thank you and shoutout to Motors Tasmania, who provided transport for them as they stayed here in Tassie. It gave the girls the opportunity to visit some of the best places the state has to offer, and really made them feel at home while they were here. Thank you SO much, Motors, we’re incredibly grateful!

Words really fail to describe how incredibly proud we are of the Tigers men this season. This past Friday saw their last game for 2024, but boy oh boy was it a fight to the finish. Behind the scenes, we`ve been watching them grow closer and stronger with every practice, match, and team event - culminating in a group of men who really supported and brought out the best in each other.
This was a tough match against @hcmelbourneh1, but next year the Tigers will be even stronger (so watch out 👀💪 we`re coming for `ya) 🐯💛
