Player’s Bio

Renee Taylor

Despite playing hockey since the age of four, Renee’s first State team was at Under-18’s. Renee’s whole family played hockey but she credits her dad, who played for New Zealand, for helping her get to where she is now. In 2018, Renee finished third in the Hockeyroos Player of the Year standings, following a mixed year which was highlighted by the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, after she was forced to miss the Champions Trophy with a wrist injury. Renee is a dual Olympian, competing in Tokyo and Paris and recently retired from International hockey.

Off the pitch, Renee’s completing a Double Degree in Accounting & Law at Curtin University.
