The Adelaide Fire are excited to announce two key player signings for Season 3 of the Hockey One League.

Please welcome the newest faces to the Adelaide Fire line-ups in 2023 …

BROOKE PERIS
Current Hockeyroos midfielder, Brooke Peris, joins the Adelaide Fire Women’s team in 2023. Cousin to Olympic Champion, Nova Peris, Brooke has paved a successful hockey career of her own. Originating from the Nightcliff Tigers Hockey Club in Darwin, Brooke has played 194 games for the Hockeyroos including appearances in their 2016 & 2020 Olympics, and the 2018 silver medal campaign at the Commonwealth Games. After missing the 2022 World Cup and Commonwealth Games due to injury, Brooke is back stronger than ever and will make a significant impact in the Fire midfield this season.

FRASER HEIGH
Coming from Scotland’s Men’s Hockey Premier League, Fraser Heigh joins the Adelaide Fire Men this season. Fraser recently represented Great Britain in the 2022 Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia. Fraser is currently playing in the WA Premier League for Whitford Hockey Club, scoring 22 goals in 15 games so far. He was also the WA Premier League Player of the Month in April. A former 100m runner, the 6ft 1” striker will bring some serious force and speed to the Adelaide Fire Men’s forward line.

We can’t wait to see Brooke and Fraser in action for the Adelaide Fire this season.
