‘Sticks to bring the thunder in final home clash

The Perth Thundersticks teams set to compete in the franchise’s final home match of the Sultana Bran Hockey One season have been announced, with WA’s elite hockey sides ready to tackle the Tassie Tigers head on this Saturday at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University.

The double-header is set to be a compelling spectacle, with the men’s team on the charge towards finals, while the women’s side are competing in a must-win clash to keep their finals hopes alive.

Goalkeeper Elizabeth Duguid makes her debut for the side in goal, while Sarah Byrnes and Georgina Dowd make a return for the do-or-die clash.

One change in the men’s team sees Kookaburra Ben Rennie make his return in goal as his side fights towards the top position on the ladder.
