The final round of the 2025 ONE Active Hockey One League arrives with everything on the line — even with some parts of the finals locked away.
In the men’s competition, the finals four is already confirmed:
Hockey Club Melbourne, Brisbane Blaze, Tassie Tigers and New South Wales Pride have all secured their places. Canberra Chill, Perth Thundersticks and Adelaide Fire have all been eliminated from contention, playing purely for pride, momentum and bragging rights in Round 7.
The women’s league, however, could not be tighter. New South Wales Pride, Hockey Club Melbourne and Adelaide Fire are already locked into the finals, leaving just one spot open.
It’s simple but dramatic:
• If Canberra Chill beat Tassie Tigers — Canberra take the final spot.
• If the Tigers win — they move into fourth, but only hold the spot if Perth lose.
• If Tassie win AND Perth beat NSW — Perth leapfrog them and clinch fourth.
Melbourne sit out with the bye, leaving fixtures in Canberra, Adelaide and Perth to shape the closing chapter of the regular season.
