Prime time slots including regular Thursday night double headers herald an exciting Season 2 of the Sultana Bran Hockey One League.
Season 2 of Australia’s new national hockey competition featuring a plethora of Kookaburras and Hockeyroos stars will comprise three consistent time slots per round at 6.30pm on Thursday nights, 6.30pm on Friday nights and 7.30pm on Saturday nights (times in AEST/AEDT).
There are two Saturday fixtures – Canberra Chill v Perth Thundersticks (Round 6) and NSW Pride v Canberra Chill (Round 7) – with a different starting time of 3.30pm AEDT.
The release of the match times coincides with general admission tickets for all fixtures now being on sale.
“Locking in the match times is another significant piece of the puzzle in the lead up to Season 2,” said Sultana Bran Hockey One League General Manager Andy Crook.
“Having consistent days and match times for each round creates a familiarity and builds an awareness of the league and when it is on.”
“Hockey and sports fans alike have every reason to be excited about how Season 2 is taking shape.”
Each Sultana Bran Hockey One League fixture will feature a double header (women’s and men’s match) within a three hour window.
Tickets and club memberships for all Sultana Bran Hockey One League fixtures are available now through Ticketek.
Broadcast details for Season 2 will be announced soon.
