Kookaburras return as Thundersticks sides set sights on NSW Pride

The Perth Thundersticks men’s side will receive a monumental boost for round four, with the additions of three Kookaburras and a seasoned veteran into the men’s side that’s set to clash the NSW Pride on Friday 21 October at the Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre.

Aran Zalewski, Tom Wickham and Jake Harvie make their return to the side after missing round three, with seasoned veteran Chris Bausor also returning to strengthen side’s defence.

Tyler Lovell also returns in goal, with the former Kookaburra adding another 147 games worth of international experience to the side.

The men’s Perth Thundersticks team remains the only side to have not lost a match out of the pool of franchises who have competed in all three opening rounds to the season.

For the women’s Perth Thundersticks side, WA under-21s representative Britney Desilva will make her debut for the Thundersticks, providing youth and energy to a side looking to regain their scintillating form after suffering their first loss the week prior.

The Perth Thundersticks take on the NSW Pride from 3:30pm AWST on Friday 21 October – watch live on Kayo Sports.
