At the recent Hockey One League (H1) Annual General Meeting, Adam Clifford was re-elected as a Member Association Appointed Director to the H1 Board.
Adam, who first joined the H1 Board in May 2021, will serve another three year period. Adam is a communications professional, currently employed with Tasmanian Education Department as Director, Operations. Adam has strong links to hockey as a former AHL & NZ National League player as well as a coach at Premier League level. He has been covering hockey in Tasmania for News Corp for eighteen years. Adam was previously a Director of Hockey Tasmania from 2015 to 2021, leading transformational change in the Promotion & Communications portfolio.
Carolyn Campbell’s tenure as a HA Appointed Director to the H1 Board ended on 15 June 2024. Carolyn’s strong leadership, contribution and commitment to the Hockey One League was recognised by the H1 Board, which resolved to appoint Carolyn as a H1 Board Appointed Director, effective 16 June 2024, for a period of three years. Carolyn is an experienced sports administrator and Board Director, currently also sitting on the Volleyball Australia and NSW Rugby League Boards.
Further recognising Carolyn’s strong leadership, she was re-elected as a H1 Board Chair on 20 June 2024 for further 12 months.
In other H1 Board related news, Joanne Scanlon was appointed by Hockey Australia (HA) to the H1 Board for a three-year term as a HA Appointed Director effective from 16 June 2024. Joanne, a current HA Board Director, is a customer experience and marketing professional with 20 years experience in the automotive, financial and sports industries. She works with organisations to transform the experience by putting the customer at the centre of decision making.
The Hockey One Board currently comprises of Carolyn Campbell (Chair), Sandra Sully, Adam Clifford, Steven Stewart, Gavin Hunt and Joanne Scanlon.
